Soft brick interior with pendant lights — a Forth studio mood
Our philosophy

Together we move forth

We built Forth for the room you walk into more than the pose you walk out with. Slow light. Warm floors. Teachers who notice you. Whatever you came in carrying — leave a little of it here.

A note from Eleanor
Nine ways to move

Our class modalities

Each one meets you where you are today.

A vinyasa flow silhouette against a warm-lit wall — Open class

Open

Vinyasa yoga asana.

Breath-led flow. Steady, warm, and yours to soften as you go.

Movement near brick wall and tall window — Hot Open class Hot

Hot Open

Hot yoga asana.

The same flow, turned up. Heat opens what tension keeps shut.

Quiet studio with mirror, wood floor and a plant — Engage class

Engage

Mat pilates.

Small, precise work. Your core wakes up — your shoulders thank you.

Warm-lit pilates stretch — Hot Engage class Hot

Hot Engage

Hot mat pilates.

Pilates with the heat on. Strength shows up faster than you'd expect.

Focused mat work — Strengthen class

Strengthen

Mat-based strength training.

Weighted, deliberate, low-impact. Build the muscle that holds the rest of your week.

Close-up of a breath cycle, hands at the face — Breathe class

Breathe

Active breathwork + soundbath.

Forty minutes of breath, sound, and almost no thinking required.

Hand near a candle on a vintage rug — Deepen meditation

Deepen

Guided meditation.

Sit, listen, return. A teacher does the steering so you don't have to.

Hands holding a candle, mat on the floor — Restore class

Restore

Deep stretching + soundbath.

Long holds, bolsters, low light. Closer to a nap than a workout — on purpose.

A figure greeting the sunset light — Awaken ecstatic dance

Awaken

Ecstatic dance.

No choreography. No mirrors. Move how the music moves you.

A moment, after class — the way the city quiets when you do.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Do I need experience to take a class?

No. Most of our regulars walked in for the first time with no background at all. Tell the teacher it's your first class — they'll meet you there.

What's the difference between Open and Engage?

Open is breath-led yoga (vinyasa flow). Engage is mat pilates — slower, smaller, core-focused. Different muscles, different feel. Try both.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable clothes you can move in. Water if you have a bottle. We provide mats, towels, and props — borrow anything you need at the front desk.

Can I use my HSA / FSA?

Yes. Pre-tax HSA and FSA funds work at Forth for memberships, packs, and drop-ins.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel up to ten hours before class with no fee. Inside ten hours, the credit returns to your account as a late-cancel — just give us a heads up if you can.

Do you host private events or corporate sessions?

Yes — team mornings, bridal parties, birthdays, off-sites. Email hello@forthstudiochicago.com and tell us what you have in mind.

Where do I park?

Street parking on Milwaukee Ave and the side streets. Both studios are a short walk from the Blue Line (Logan Square + Belmont stops).

Ready?
